One of my all time faviourite hobbies to do is exploring and hunting down new cafe spots around town.
The past few years... Perth has jumped on the bandwagon of organic, vegan friendly, and bloody trendy concept layouts!
Today, I met up with my super gifted and long-life friend Bernard, and his sister Isabel, duo owners of Marcelo Productions (look them up on insta or FB because their work will blow your mind).
They came to visit me whilst living in LA - and boy did we find some awesome spots there. But today, we decided to have a little catchup brunch date at Flora & Fauna in Northbridge!
Bernie was blogging, and Isabel and I where snapping away the beautiful location. The cafe was in a cute little alley way right next to Varisty Bars pop-up concept American burger joint.
Bernard and I ordered smash avo on turkish bread and Isabel is vegan so she ordered the vegan mac & cheese with a pinapple juice, whilst I sipped on a soy long mac. We knew what the food menu would look like - appearance wise, because we did our research beforehand on Insta, the food was soooooo colourful and each dish came out with eatible flowers! Just an FYI - we use instagram for referencing all the sick places we find, @breakfastinperth updates you with awesome new concepts around town, and we use hashtags to help find unusual spots...
But man, did the food taste delish! Not only did our dishes look presentible and unique, but each dish tasted insane!
