Spent my Birthday in JAPAN!

Hey guys!

I know it's been a while since I last posted a blog - but, as you know, life and work gets in the way. However, a little update on my life as we the year almost comes to a close, I've been living in London for the past 6 months and its been a blast!

My partner Bernie and I have travelled all around Europe while living here. We kind of wanted to keep London as our base camp and travel throughout whenever we could! We spent my birthday in Japan and BOYYYYY was it a holiday to remember. Since then, we went to Paris for fashion week in June, travelled to Portugal and spent time in Lison and Albufeira, travelled to Manchester, 4 hours from London to visit my best friend Holly who lives there, I took Bernie my partner to Italy for he's Birthday, and we spent time in Rome, Naples and drove down to Amalfi Coast staying in Sorrento and visiting Capri and Positano.

My gosh - my life is the definition of 'GO FOR IT'!

Anyway, I wanted to post my experiences from Japan in this blog - but instead of me explaining it all to you guys, I have compiled a video! Check it out below:

Just a quick recap - we visited Toyko, Kyoto, Osaka and a little city called Omya-Ku in Saitama.

If you're wanting to visit Japan here are a few recommendations I'd suggest:

Tokyo - we experienced one night in a capsule pods, it was like we lived in the future, super cool but I'd only recommend doing it for one night or two.

Shibuya crossing is like Japans version of Times-square!

We went to Team Labs or Planet Labs which was awesome

Trying visiting Monster Cafe - you may have to pre book but we waited to get a seat and they put on a show!

Osaka - Universal studios!

Dōtonbori which is popular tourist district full of food and places to site see

Shinsaibashi - outdoor market full of so many different varieties of food

Kyoto - Check out the Fushimi Inari Taisha temples! They are the orange buildings, its like a hike but well worth it and has so much culture behind the beautiful buildings.

Arashiyama is full of temples and shrines and massive bamboo trees!

Hope you enjoyed the video and let me know if there is anything you guys want me to blog about and visit!

Love,

Carina x
