During our winter - June, July, August, a lot of Aussies tend to escape the cold weather and travel either to Europe or to USA. I luckily enough fell into that category of gaining the travel bug, and I went to EUROPE!
I didn't just go because I thought, what the heck? I actually had my close high school girlfriends wedding in Croatia! So our whole group of girlfriends, flew to Europe and made a trip of it!
I was lucky enough to travel with my best girlfriend, Steph. We didn't think it was appropriate to just travel to Croatia, as its like a 25 hour flight there and back to Europe. So we made a vacation of it!
We flew into Rome, Italy - spent a few nights there, then we flew to Split, Croatia where we met the other girls!
During that time, we had Ana's bachelorette party on a boat which took us to many different islands around Croatia. We also experienced a Croatian wedding which was SO MUCH FUN, and SO MUCH FOOD AND DANCING!
We partied until 4am and didn't stop! So much tradition in one room - full of love and smiles from different cultures and people from around the world gathering to celebrate the wedding of Ana & Bono.
After the wedding us girls spent a few days exploring Hvar & Zcre, in Croatia.
We said goodbye to the rest of the girls, and Steph and I flew to Barcelona, Spain. Continuing our journey around Spain we spent a few relaxing days in Mallorca, a Balearic Island off Spain.
We couldn't leave out the partying capital of Europe, IBIZA! So we ticked that off the list and partied with Diplo, Maxwell and Tommy Hilfiger's Son, Richard and his US mates. It was a fun time! We also caught up with my girlfriend who I went to high school with and famous Australian makeup artist, Tahlia Jade, who now lives in Melbourne. It was a great catch up!
After Ibiza, we flew to Lisbon, Portugal, and got a 4.5 hour bus to Lagos. Where we spent a beautiful 4 days of pure relaxation and eating our weight in traditional food.
Our trip was coming to an end - and we were having to fly to Germany to fly back home to Australia.
