Bringing in the New Year with NYFW

Hey guys!

Can you believe it is already 2018? First of all - 1. where does time go? and 2. where the heck does time go?!

I've been living in the states for nine months now and boy has time flown by!

I wanted to start of the new year with new goals, new resolutions, new thoughts, new prayers, new habits and all of the above! The other day while on the train on my way to work, I wrote down my list of personal goals and professional career goals in my journal. I also added a new section for 'everyday' small goals, which I feel will be super effective for me this year. On Sunday (first Sunday of the year) I went to Hillsong at the Hammerstein Ballroom right near Madison Square Garden; for those of you who haven't tried Hillsong, I HIGHLY recommend. You can find all the info about services and times in the link below:

Well anyway, so I managed to go to church and it was absolutely breathtaking and a touching evening! It was all about New Year, New Prayers, and learning to listen and act on what we hear.

I brought Pastor Carls (founder and lead Pastor of Hillsong New York) book, "Own the moment" - which in fact, has nothing to do with conforming one to Christianity and Jesus, but all about Owning the moment and making the most of what we have PRESENT.

Moving on, I don't want to bore you with "new year, new you" type of stuff - but yet, want to inspire you all because I feel super motivated to smash my goals, stop procrastinating on things, and start DOING. I feel inspired as ever - and I hope you guys will be too after reading this.

Since I feel more inspired and motivated to get SH*T done this year - I've put together a new vlog, that was actually filmed... well, ahhhhh last year in September. 2017 - out with the old, but editing in with the new, 2018... It was during New York Fashion week - which was such a fun time to be living in the biggest fashion city of the world.

My good friend Sara works for a fashion agency here in Chelsea, New York - called REP Agency, her company had 5 runway shows for their clients. Us girls had the chance to go to some of the shows.

Heres the list:

1. Alexander Wang Secret street show on Lafayette street

2. Custo Barcelona at pier 59 studios

3. Calvin Lou Offical at the Witney Museum of American Art

We also went to a few after parties and events all week which again was fun! and super great to network and connect with other like-minded creative heads.

Here is a small video I put together from the event:

I hope you guys enjoy!

Happy watching,

Carina x
